Here are the steps with the Item Group Editor open and all of the columns displayed that you would like to see.  How long the fields are in Horizon does not matter, when you export it the full field will be visible in Excel.

  1. Click on File at the top of the screen
  2. Click on Export Record(s)
  3. In the popup window change Format to "Columns Separated by Tabs" and OK

  4. Save it to the default Arrowhead##, this is the Citrix server in Atlanta (but saves the best this way)
  5. Now, copy and paste the file from Step 3 to YOUR computer with these instructions
    1. Click on File at the top of the screen
    2. Click on Export Record(s)
      1. Instead of saving anything, find the file you saved in Step 3 and right click on it
      2. Select Copy
    3. Find Local Disc (C$: on 'Client" (C:)  
    4. Find Users
    5. Find YOUR COMPUTER NAME - Now you are looking at your computer
    6. Find the folder you want to put the file, right click on it
    7. Click on Paste 
  6. It is now being saved to your computer
  7. It generally works best to open Excel and then the file in Excel or if you have an "Open With" that lists excel you can do that also.
  8. If you make some edits and want to save them be sure to do Save As and change the file format to an excel worksheet.
